2019 Closer to Free Ride

One of our favorite events to sponsor, the Closer to Free ride is an unbelievably touching experiemce. When thousands of people come together with the love of bikes and the desire to make a difference in the lives of the many through fundraising for Yale New Haven's own Smilow Cancer Hospital. This year, the ride featured over 2100 riders and raised over 15 million Dollars since its start in 2011. The heartwarming feeling paired with the joy of all parties involved in the participation, organization, and operation of the Closer to Free Ride can be described with no other word than breathtaking.
